Do you remember how you were injured? You were found under a mountain of rubble. The fact you're alive at all is a miracle, let alone being able to move around. The dungeons were mostly intact since they didn't have any outer walls to breach, and the knights are being held on trial. [Ranma might notice that Fuu's arm that isn't holding her is in a sling.]

We tried to reason with them, but... they weren't willing to listen.

I... was? [Yes, that... sounds familiar. She had been so instantly knocked out, it hadn't occurred to her that she could have been buried alive in all the chaos.]

The knights... some of them were just following orders but... there were others that enjoyed it too much. They imprisoned people that wanted to leave to defect...

What about the... other servants...? [She's second guessing herself immediately. Would... a servant call themselves a servant? Or a different word, like staff?] The Saotomes were awful to them, they shouldn't be blamed...

The Saotomes were nowhere to be found, but...

What power does anyone have against a lord they serve? So long as they don't show violence or cruelty, there should be no reason to lay any blame on them.

Enough people have already died to senseless slaughter.

...I hope you're right. But people have good reason to be angry too. Having that work in your history... its going to stain everyone unfortunate enough to be near them.

People can change. We're people, not beasts. The choice to change is one of our greatest assets.

Will you be all right staying in the palace until you're healed? I'm not sure my mother and father would be very happy with me straying too far for a while, yet, and we have the best medics here. But I wouldn't want to put further strain on you.

It's hardly any trouble! Our knights went too far with our retaliation, and innocent people were hurt. It's our duty to fix that as best as we can.

Any protest sort of loses to how she falls back into Fuu's arms the second she tries to stand up. Tsk. She hates looking weak.]

[The next few days are probably a blur of treatment for the both of them. But as soon as she's cleaned up and cleared, she's at Ranma's bedside. She's genuinely very, very worried Ranma is going to kick the bucket.]

[Ranma, aka Mystery Girl, is quiet and reserved. She’ll answer when spoken to but she’s not talking on her own.

Still, she’s not glaring or spiteful or anything like that. She listens to instructions and focuses on what Fuu tells her.]

[ Fuu on the other hand is pleasant. Sue’s basically acting as Ranma’s personal medic. Once ranma is more stable, she’s going to start asking questions, like her name and where she’s from. ]
