Miss Fuu, a lot of people have famously died from being killed. That's not that special.

I don't know if you've noticed, but humans spend a lot of their life being alive. I think you still fit right in.

[ She just shakes her head with a sigh. She supposes it’s only natural ranma doesn’t understand, considering Genma didn’t fill her in on anything. ]

Don't shake your head in exasperation at me- why would this make you or more less human in any way that matters?

He was my friend. [She's almost surprised to hear herself say it.] I don't think that means he had to stop being "just" human.

My father has always seemed so much larger than life to me. I never thought he'd actually die.

...I get what you mean on that front, I guess. He still seemed like he had a lot in him.

He was young. And stronger and more dedicated than anybody. If it wasn't for the oath, he'd probably have outlived both of us.

Wouldn't want to hold that kinda standard to anybody, to be honest.

[She says, ready to hold herself to a ridiculous standard.]

But it's likely that we'll find ourselves in that position.

[Ranma fixes her with a long, searching look. Thinking over arguments and counter-arguments.

Then she moves over to Fuu's spot on the bed, putting herself right in front of her. And then gently but firmly pushes her down onto the mattress.]

[She goes bright red! But, well, she's 12 what is she thinking?]

W-what are you doing?

[She grabs onto Fuu's hand and puts it down on Fuu's own chest.]

Is it beating?

[hououji]

Y-yes...? [it's hammering.]

[fluidgender]

Then you're human.

The only thing that matters is living and what you do while you're living. That's true for every human and its true for you. Nothing more, nothing less.
