I'm sure that's what they think. But if they can justify hurting someone to save lives, its easy enough for them to claim its alright to hurt Kaori or myself in order to save Fuu or Adora. Or even vice versa. Once someone decides violence is the only answer... they're a danger to everyone.

People can do a lot of wrong out of love. My... father once claimed all the people he killed was for the love of his kingdom.

Gets hard for me to trust it, a lot of days.

The king's advisor always told me that love is weakness. Is that what she meant by that?

...Maybe not a stance I agree with. I think love is... important. Essential. But we should recognize the love other people have. We can't see others as monsters aiming to hurt our loved ones. We have to know that... everyone has love.

That's what makes love strong, not weak.

I don’t think those who are angry with me or cruel toward me [ She says despite denying it happened earlier. ] see me as a monster. I think they are being given impossible choices. To stand by and do nothing is a difficult choice to make. Even the princess couldn’t do it—we were trying to find a way for me to return, but ran out of time.

What other choice did she and I have? It’s difficult, being helpless.

It's impossible burden. To stand by idly or do risk making a mistake.

You're a good influence on Kaori. I think you're a good influence on everyone.

But it's tough to be kind when everything else is mean. Having you near helped stabilize her.

She was having a very difficult time. I’m not sure I had anything to do with it—she didn’t seem to like me very much when we first met.

[ Oh it’s awkward. Hands down, Adora is in the worst state she’s ever seen her. She’s exhausted, but unable to sleep for longer than a few minutes at a time. There are bags under her eyes and she’s sore as heck and she’s lost a lot of weight over the past few weeks.

She tries to pretend she’s ok for her mom tho. She just can’t meet her eyes because… Adora ran away. She didn’t even try to tell Leslie. ]
