[Honestly, with the way it's going, they may have to trick them into situations with hobbies. Or at least ways for them to practice social situations without the highest of stakes. Maybe... maybe when the social obligations start back up, they can bring one or more kids to practice mingling with strangers?]

I liked to play sports! And I liked to visit people in the markets.

Sports! There's an idea. Kaori's never been the type... but Adora seems to enjoy fencing well enough. I'm sure there's some games that could be visited.

Really? The princess is so agile though!

Well, she likes a challenge but she also likes winning. When she noticed people were letting her win a lot of times, she got bored and annoyed.

I suppose that makes sense if she’s a princess… still I think she’d do a very good job.

Maybe all three of you could benefit from finding some sports then.

I suppose... it could be a way for a lot of people relieve stress. Maybe even...

That's... relieving. If there was someone I couldn't trust to keep you safe... well, I would hate to imagine someone here could be dangerous to my wife or daughters either.

[Its sort of an experiment on Ranma's part, quantifying a danger to Nia as a danger to someone else too. Its tough to get these kids to care about their own safety,]

That wouldn’t be the case at all! Everyone here loves your family. If they had intended to hurt me, it would have been with intentions to help them…

[They blow some air out of their mouth, shoving hands in their pockets. God. Its good to have pockets again. Its good to not be on the road.]

I'm sure that's what they think. But if they can justify hurting someone to save lives, its easy enough for them to claim its alright to hurt Kaori or myself in order to save Fuu or Adora. Or even vice versa. Once someone decides violence is the only answer... they're a danger to everyone.

People can do a lot of wrong out of love. My... father once claimed all the people he killed was for the love of his kingdom.

Gets hard for me to trust it, a lot of days.
